Increase Flexibility in Hips, Pelvic Diaphragm Support, and Alignment and Integrity of the Spine
Many of us are holding in our pelvic diaphragm due to being instructed to pull up and tighten our core and/or to tuck our tail.
This tightening limits movement and over time can decrease the vitality of tissues and joints, especially in the organs of the pelvis as well as the hip, sacroiliac, and lower spinal joints.
This often becomes a bigger issue as we age.
In this clip, we explore the embodiment of the embryological origin of our central axis (notochord) from the center of the pelvic diaphragm and perineum (perineal body) to the pituitary gland.
The notochord orients the alignment and movement of our spine, and the perineal body orients the alignment and movement of our hip joints.
Explore along as I demonstrate how we can move with more ease, range of motion, form, and flow to increase flexibility in the hip joints, support in the pelvic diaphragm, and alignment and integrity of the spine.
