Opening Your Heart: Embodying the Front and Back of the Heart
So much emphasis is put on opening the front of our hearts. However, in opening the front of the heart, we’re often unknowingly compressing the back of the heart, including the pulmonary vessels.
These vessels carry the blood from the heart to the lungs and are very important for heart and lung health and full-body circulation.
How do we open the front of our hearts without compressing the the back of the heart, whether we're standing, sitting, coming up from Child's pose, in movement?
Explore opening your heart without compressing the back of your heart in this video.
This is a clip from Bonnie's online course on Engaging Self and Other through Embodiment: A Body-Mind Centering® Approach.
