All classes are held from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm (California, USA).

You can convert this to your local time by adding your city here.

Sometimes our emails end up in spam and promotions folders rather than inboxes. Please check your junk, spam, and promotion folders regularly for email from us.

Bonnie’s 2022 Winter Series of classes are hosted through Zoom in a webinar format. We will send you a personal link to join the class about 24 hours and 2 hours before each class begins. Each class will have a different link.

We simultaneously broadcast the class on YouTube Live. If you have any issues in Zoom, or do not like to use Zoom, you can attend the class on YouTube Live. We will include the YouTube Live link when we send you the Zoom link.

Classes are held in a webinar format which means only Bonnie and her team's audio and webcams will be enabled. Although we (and other participants) won't be able to see or hear you, we love the communal engagement that happens through the chat.

We recommend you wear comfortable clothing. Bonnie often sits on a ball while teaching. A ball is not necessary for class – you can participate anywhere, in any position, in stillness, in movement, in silence, with sound and vocalization.

Pay attention to what your needs are. Modulate your energy, attention, and focus to what you are needing in each moment.

The most important factor is your own comfort.

The Zoom and YouTube Live chats will be enabled for the 2022 Winter Series classes.

The chat is a place for you to share your experience in class with Bonnie and other participants and we encourage you to communicate with Bonnie and each other through the chat. As we aren’t able to be with each other in person, it’s a wonderful way to connect with each other in class.

The Zoom chat for each class will be made available to all participants of Bonnie's 2022 Winter Series. We will upload the chat for each class when the recording of that class is ready.

Reading the full Zoom and YouTube Live chat — what you are experiencing during class, your questions, general comments, etc. — allows Bonnie to connect with participants and better prepare for the next class. It also brings her great joy!

Advertising your classes, events, or services in the chat is not permitted. This is a space for sharing your experiences, thoughts, and questions about the material Bonnie is presenting.

The chat is an important part of each class. It is a way for people to communicate with each other and with Bonnie. Participants can share their experiences, questions, thoughts, links to further research and resources. Body-Mind Centering® is based on community – the chat is a way we build community during the online classes.

If you prefer not to see the Zoom chat message popup notifications, you can hide the them by popping out the chat window and dragging it to the bottom of your screen, as in the video below.

In addition to hosting classes on Zoom, we simultaneously broadcast them on YouTube Live. Please choose which platform works best for you.

If you are unable to hide the Zoom chat, we recommend going to the class on YouTube Live.

Sending Messages in the Zoom chat:
    • If you would like to share something with the entire group, choose Everyone in the drop down menu in chat before you send your message.
    • If you would like to share something with just panelists (Bonnie and her team), choose Hosts and panelists in the drop down menu in chat before you send your message.

You will have a video in your account titled 2022 Winter Series Colored Illustrations. This is a video of the colored illustrations shown in class so that you can see how Bonnie colored them.

A reminder that the illustrations and all materials you receive from us are copyrighted material of Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen. No part of the documents or videos, either text or image, may be used for any purpose other than your own study of the material. You may not share them with others, post them on social media, websites/blogs, use them in your classes, or print and hand them out.

Thank you for respecting Bonnie’s copyright.

These study groups are a wonderful opportunity to deepen your understanding around the material Bonnie presents, ask more personal questions, and to interact and connect with other participants in a more intimate way.

If you are interested in connecting with people facilitating study groups around the material Bonnie presents in her 2022 Winter Series classes, there are two ways to do that through:

Postural Tone in Relation to Gravity and Space
This teaching and somatization are based on the condensing and expanding of our cellular matrix due to the position of our body in relation to the earth. This innate cellular condensing and expanding establishes pathways of tonal flow through our body.

        Proprioceptors of the Ligaments
A short video about what proprioceptors are, the role of proprioceptors in the ligaments, tendons, muscles, bones, and fascia from the perspective of traditional literature and from the perspective of Body-Mind Centering®.

Exploring the Embodiment of Cellular Consciousness through Movement: A Body-Mind Centering® Approach - Free Class
This is a 90-minute free class Bonnie offered to start her 2020 Summer Series. In this class, Bonnie shares about cellular consciousness, postural tone, muscle tone, and mechanical movement vs cellular movement, as well as explorations on condensing and expanding, and the dance of the egg and sperm (embryology).

Free the Vital Energy and Illuminating Presence of Your Spine: A Body-Mind Centering® Approach
This is the first class of Bonnie’s 2020 Fall Series. We have made it free for everyone. In this class, Bonnie shares about bones of the pelvis, sacrum and pubic disc, pubic disc as the keystone between the legs, sacrum as part of the spine rather than part of the pelvis, transferring weight through the pubic disc vs through the sacrum, embryological development of the spine and peripheral limbs, energizing the lateral line through sidelying, and activating your core.

Releasing Patterns of Stress and Uncovering Patterns of Ease
This is the first class of Bonnie’s 2021 Winter Series. We have made it free for everyone. In this class, Bonnie shares about building postural tone, Baby Ball Reflex and Birthing Reflex, postural tone, parasympathetic and sympathetic responses, unified diaphragm, and swinging the coccyx and xiphoid process.

Opening and Strengthening the Heart through the Consciousness of Embodiment
This is the first class of Bonnie’s 2021 Spring Series. We have made it free for everyone. In this class, Bonnie shares about physiological flexion and extension, embracing reflex, heart as the center of vertical and horizontal axises, how the heart can be open even when closing, relationship of the heart and voice, and releasing tightness in your heart.

Lengthening and Shortening Contractions of the Diaphragm for Ease of Movement and Breath
The word 'contraction' means to shorten yet we have shortening and lengthening contractions. Our language inhibits our understanding of what contractions are and what is happening in the body. Bonnie explores this in relation to the thoracic diaphragm, movement, and breath.

Embodiment of the Thoracic Diaphragm, Liver, and Gallbladder
This short lesson is a guide for you to bring more clarity and freedom to your diaphragm and upper abdominal region through breathing, cellular consciousness, and movement.

Finding the Crura of the Thoracic Diaphragm for Core Support
There's so much buzz around core support, mostly speaking about building muscle strength. Bonnie shows us another way to find what many are looking for simply by engaging and embodying the crura of the thoracic diaphragm. This is a wonderful exploration for anyone looking to find support of their spine from head to tail.

Embodying the Crura of the Diaphragm from Head to Tail (Foramen Magnum to Coccyx)
Bonnie’s experience of the crura of the thoracic diaphragm differs from what’s found in the literature. Her experience is that the crura goes up to the foramen magnum and down to the coccyx.

        Exploring Fat as a Fluid
Fat energy is much stronger than muscle energy. What happens when you explore fat as a dynamic fluid rather than resist or repress it? Finding the pathways to allow yourself to embody your body, rather than try to control it, can be an incredibly powerful exploration. Explore your fat with Bonnie in this video. It's joyful and fun!

Exploring Fascia through the Fluids and Bands
One of the things about fascia is its elasticity and linearity. When I say linear, it's still spirialic but it has a directionality. Embodying fascia through elastic bands is a wonderful way to feel its continuity and equal balance of tone in movement.

Awakening Breathing in the Lobes of the Lungs
Opening our awareness to our breathing in the cells and alveoli (air sacs) of the lungs engenders a quiet, meditative state of being. It is a state of receptivity to what is, rather than what we think or wish would be.

        An Introduction to Embryonic Breathing
This video is an introduction to embryonic breathing. Bonnie shares her story and experience with embryonic breathing, the anatomy of embryonic breathing, and a somatization to guide you through your own exploration of embryonic breathing.

The Dance of Creation – The Egg and The Sperm
This is a consciousness story of the dance of creation between the egg and the sperm.

The Anatomy Coloring Book by Wynn Kapit and Lawrence M. Elson, or an anatomy book of your choice.

Sensing, Feeling, and Action: The Experiential Anatomy of Body-Mind Centering®

Basic Neurocellular Patterns: Exploring Developmental Movement

        The Mechanics of Vocal Expression

The size of the blue ball Bonnie sits on in class is 85 cm. She sometimes sits on a red ball, which is 75 cm. She is 5' 4" (162 cm) tall. She does not have a specific brand recommendation. A ball is not necessary for class, but can be fun!
